Pokémon Games Have Sold 172 Million Units To Date

At the Pokémon Game Show in Tokyo this past weekend, The Pokémon Company announced that 172 million units of Pokémon games have been sold across the world.

 

The last two major Pokémon games, Black/White and Black 2/White 2 have sold 15.42 million and 7.81 million units worldwide, as of March 31st, 2013.

 

The next two games in the Pokémon series are Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, and will launch worldwide on October 12th.
