Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Remakes Add Hideaways, Trainer Customization, Walking Pokemon

First, people will be able to choose how your avatar will look in the Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl remakes. You can change your outfit. This will be reflected on your character both in battle and in the overworld.

As for the Hideaways, this feature will allow people to choose which Pokemon they encounter. You can place statues in an area. This determines which Pokemon will then appear underground. The Pokemon Presents noted that this will be the only way to encounter certain characters in the game.

As for the rhythm minigame, that comes up when you head to a contest with your characters. The Super Contest Shows will let you put one of your Pokemon on display. You’ll then tap along in time with the songs with them to help them do well.

Finally, walking Pokemon will be a part of the Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl remakes. You’ll be able to set a Pokemon in the menu. It will then follow behind your avatar when you explore the world.

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will come to the Nintendo Switch on November 19, 2021.
