An English overview trailer for the upcoming Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl remakes has been uploaded to the official Nintendo YouTube account. It goes over multiple elements The trailer shows off the new Hideaways feature, in which players can engage with Pokemon in a number of unique biomes.
The new Pokemon Hideaways feature in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl‘s Grand Underground will see Pokemon roaming around in the open, rather than engaging in random battles. The Pokemon that appear will be contingent on what statues players have placed in their secret base.

The video also brought up Ramanas Park, a new location in the titles. There, players will be able to ise items called Slates. These can be used to summon legendary Pokemon such as Ho-oh, Rayquaza, and Moltres. The area will be accessible after defeating the Elite Four. To access online features like the Grand Underground and Ramanas Park, players with a physical copy will need to download the 3GB 1.1.0 update.
Players with save data from either Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! or Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! will be able to get Mew as a gift from an NPC after defeating the first gym leader, Rock. Players with Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield save data will be able to get Jirachi in the same way.
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will be available for the Nintendo Switch worldwide on November 19, 2021. They can be purchased individually or as a set. Both titles are available to pre-order on the Nintendo eShop, and a Manaphy egg will be gifted as an early-purchase bonus until February 21, 2022. The games will be compatible with the Pokemon Home app sometime in 2022.
