Pokémon Black & White Cross 1 Mil. In Europe, Total Pokémon Sales At 35 Million

Last week, we reported that Pokémon Black/White had debuted in the U.S. with 1.08 million units sold in a single day, breaking the all-time first-day sales record for the series. It took a little for Black/White to reach that number in Europe, but they’re over a million units in PAL territories now, too.

Nintendo of Europe say it took 10 days for Pokémon Black/White to cross the 1 million mark in Europe, since the games’  launch on March 4th. The total installed base for Pokémon games in Europe is now over 35 million units, according to NOE.

Nintendo still have new features planned for Pokémon Black/White. On March 30th, they’ll launch the Global Link service, which will allow players to enter the Pokémon Dream World, where you can communicate with other players and find Pokémon that you can’t catch through normal means in Black/White.

The Global Link also allows you to access the Random Matchup Challenge and view your global ranking based on your performance in online battles. Additionally, the Global Link feature also lets you download special backgrounds for your Pokédex and C-Gear, as well as new music for the Pokémon musical in the game.
