Pokédex 3D Updated; Will Now Let You Complete Your Unova Pokédex

Recommended Videos

Later this year, Nintendo will release Pokédex 3D Pro via the Nintendo eShop in North America and Europe. This new version of Pokédex 3D—which will be a paid app—will contain detailed information on every Pokémon known to date. In the meantime, the current Pokédex 3D app is seeing an update.

A new update released today makes it so every existing Pokédex 3D entry for the Unova region is now downloadable via SpotPass, so if your Pokédex stopped updating, this update will allow you to complete it, including Pokémon with alternate forms. The update also unlocks six Pokémon that were previously only attainable through scanning AR Markers, including Reshiram and Zekrom.

You can update Pokédex 3D from within the app by tapping the “Update” button. Something else to note is that Pokédex 3D will be taken offline after October 1st, after which Pokédex 3D Pro will be released on November 8th.
