Pokémon Black/White 2 will be released in North America on October 7th and in Europe on October 12th. On the same day as their release, Nintendo will also release Pokémon Dream Radar, a Nintendo eShop game where you search for augmented reality Pokémon, and can transfer them to Black/White 2.

Among the Dream Radar Pokémon will be rare breeds such as the new Therian forms of legendary Pokémon Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus. Other Pokémon captured in Pokémon Dream Radar will have abilities that they wouldn’t normally have if you were to simply capture them in Black/White 2.

Additionally, this morning, Nintendo of America also announced a release date for Pokédex 3D Pro. This will be available on the Nintendo eShop a month after the release of Black/White 2, on November 8th.

Pokédex 3D Pro will contain information on every Pokémon in the series’ history, and will be a paid app. Its free predecessor app, Pokédex 3D—which only contains information on the Generation 5 monsters found in Pokémon Black/White—will no longer be available as of October 1st.
