This week’s Nintendo eShop release for 3DS isn’t exactly a game—it’s Pokédex 3D Pro, an updated version of the original free Pokédex 3D app, containing information on every Pokémon to date. Pokédex 3D Pro costs $15 and you can read our detailed impressions of it here.
Also available this week is a free playable demo for Epic Mickey: The Power of Illusion, the side-scrolling platformer that serves as a modern spiritual successor to Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse on the Sega Genesis.
Finally, there’s Johnny Hotshot ($5.99), a shoot-out game where you take on the role of a sheriff after being warped inside of an arcade game.
This week will also see the release of Paper Mario: Sticker Star as a retail game for $40, but the game will be available simultaneously on the Nintendo eShop as well. You’ll be able to download it on November 11th.
European update:
Europe gets Pokédex 3D Pro this week, too, for €14.99/£13.49. Nintendo are also starting to roll out downloadable lessons for New Art Academy, and this costs €1.99/£1.79. This week’s lessons are “Fur & Feathers” and “Paint like Monet”. Also, Marvel Pinball 3D is on sale this week for a discounted price of €4.99/£4.49.
