PlayStation Vita To Come In $249 And $299 Models, Prices For Other Regions Announced

Sony have announced the price for the PlayStation Vita, formerly referred to as the Next Generation Portable (or NGP). The device will come in two models — Wi-Fi and 3G, with AT&T as Sony’s exclusive 3G service provider in North America.

 

The Wi-Fi model will go for $249.99, while the 3G model will cost $299.99. 3G connectivity partnerships for other regions have not been announced yet. The PlayStation Vita will be available this holiday season.

 

Here are the prices for the other regions:

 

Wi-Fi Model:

Japan: 24,980 yen

Europe: 249 Euro

 

3G Model:

Japan: 29,980 yen

Europe: 299 Euro
