Sandeep “2 Old 4 Gaming” Rai has launched a Kickstarter to help fund the final book in a trilogy looking at the life and times of the PlayStation Vita. PlayStation Vita: The End was seeking $5,194 by March 26, 2020, and as of February 26, 2020 had already passed $11,000. The goal is to release the final installment by January 2021.

In PlayStation Vita: The End, Rai will look at the life of the handheld after 2015. Some of the games he will discuss include Dragon Quest Builders, the first two The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel games, Persona Dancing, World of Final Fantasy, and Ys installments. As a result of the first stretch goal having been met, a VitaZine 50-page magazine looking at the 100 games Rai considers to be the best for the platform will also be included with any funding tier that includes a physical book.

Both PlayStation Vita: Year One and PlayStation Vita: Years Two and Three are immediately available. Each one was also successfully funded on Kickstarter.

PlayStation Vita: The End has a tentative January 2021 release window. The least amount of money someone can contribute to acquire a copy is £7 for a digital one and £9 for a physical one.
