Sony announced a PlayStation 5 Project Q handheld streaming device during the May 2023 PlayStation Showcase. Only a prototype of one alongside a console appeared ahead of its 2023 debut. It will allow people to stream their games, with the controls on the device resembling a PS5 DualSense controller. There will also be official PlayStation earbuds, which will work the PS5, PC, and smartphones.

Very few details appeared, as this device is in development. It will feature an eight inch HD screen. It will also be able to stream PS5 games. However, it can’t stream PSVR2 ones. It will use WiFi to stream titles with Remote Play.

There were also not many details about the earbuds. They will feature loss-less audio with no latency. These will simultaneously connect via Bluetooth to phones.
