Blossom Tales: The Sleeping King is a cute top-down action/adventure game, one whose action is informed by a grandfather relaying the story of the game to his grandchildren.
The story of Blossom Tales is told by Lily and Chrys’ grandpa, and the player will act through the children’s imaginations of what that story entails. Whatever the grandfather talks about, the players will have to deal with, be that monsters, quests, or helpful things like towns, treasure, and friendly townsfolk.
