Square Enix announced the first Final Fantasy VII Advent Children character will join Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia. Kadaj is now a part of the Dissidia FFOO cast. His Mother Fixation event is now available. There is also an event draw with his LD and EX weapons.
As acquiring new characters in Dissidia FFOO is free, all someone needs to do is play through the Mother Fixation chapter to get Kadaj. He’s unlocked after you complete “Unfamiliar Brother.” You can also earn his White Cape armor and Nisou sword by going through the questline. This also marks the first time any Final Fantasy movie character appeared in Dissidia FFOO.
Here’s a trailer looking at Kadaj in action. It also shows a bit of what happens when he meets Sephiroth.
As for the Mother Fixation banner, it will be available until June 21, 2021. The focus items are Kadaj’s Sokoku LD weapon, Kadaj’s Soba EX, Golbez’s Heavens’ Eye Scales BT, Alisaie’s Murgleis EX, and Maria’s Dark Bow EX. Other Kadaj weapons added to the game are his Nisou and Shuu swords.
Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia is available for Android and Apple iOS devices. The Kadaj chapter will be available in Dissidia FFOO until June 21, 2021. He’s the most recent FFVII character to appear following Reno and Rude. If people miss it, they will have to wait until it is added as a Lost Chapter.
