Manga on the DS? Compile Heart has been working on it starting with an adaptation of Phoenix from Astro Boy creator, Osamu Tezuka. Japan gets a chance to read stories about eternal life on June 19rd, a month later than the initial May 2008 target.

We still haven’t seen a video demo of Compile Heart’s project, but the promotional art looks gorgeous. Remember the picture below is not a representation of what we’re going to see in DS de Yomo Series: Hi no Tori, but if Compile Heart manages to create something half as good I'll be impressed.
