The trailer kicked off with a cinematic showing off a fight against a giant battleship, as Episode 4 is set to take place back on Earth. Currently, the game is available on Xbox One and PC via Microsoft Store, but the trailer also reveals that the game will be coming to more PC platforms soon, although it didn’t say if this means Steam, Epic Games Store, both, or more.
In other recent news, Phantasy Star Online 2 will celebrate Sonic’s birthday beginning on June 17, 2020. Starting on that date, players can type “Gotta Go Fast” in the Chat window to receive special rewards.
A giant Sonic can be seen the lobby, and there will also be other changes, like Nyau looking like Sonic during the duration of the event. They have a chance of dropping the Sonic Knuckles, which are shaped like Knuckles’… well, knuckles.
Phantasy Star Online 2 is available for the Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs. The game seems to be coming to more PC platforms in the near future as well. Check out other Sega-themed costumes in our previous post here.
