With the characters from Persona 3 and Persona 4 working together to take on Etrian Odyssey-style dungeons, Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth has a lot going on. Elizabeth and her sister Margaret put together a recap of all the latest features in the game to help keep viewers up to speed.

The trailer begins with Elizabeth giving a brief introduction to the story of Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, where the Persona-users hear a strange sound, a signal which sends them to an alternate world, at a school that has an eerie clock tower. The characters will be fighting Shadows that appear in this world, as they meet new friends and try finding a way to go back to the normal world.

Elizabeth’s sister Margaret appears next, to give us a closer look at the world of Persona Q, starting with how you’ll be selecting between the protagonists of Persona 3 and 4, and the party you’ll be setting up to take on the dungeon.

Next, we get a look at the various dungeons you’ll be exploring, and the mapping system. Margaret gets a bit too excited and shows off her very own colorful map, showing that you’ll be able to add a bit of your own touch, as well. In the part that follows after, we get a look at some of the battles that shows the Persona-users take on different Shadows. She also talks a bit about the Boost feature, a special bonus you’ll get for exploiting enemy weaknesses.

Next, the above video gives us another look at the Boost feature. You can read more about that in detail from our earlier report.

The difficulty will go from safety, easy, normal, hard, and risky. There will also be side-quests, where various players will have different requests for you to take on. Completing these quests will get you all kinds of rewards.

The trailer ends with Margaret saying “the title name is the only part we were synced,” followed by Elizabeth responding with “I wish for one more take… if you will.”

Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth will be released this fall in North America.
