Persona 5’s Official Art Book Has Protagonist Prototypes And More In New English e-book Release

Persona 5 got a Japan-only official art book back in 2016, and fans in the West can now check it out as Famitsu released an official English-translated version as an e-book, and it is now available for purchase.

Persona 5: The Original Art Book features concept art for all characters, confidants, bosses, and more with comments from the creators. It also comes with their concept art and model sheets, with most of the Japanese text translated into English.

As shown in the above images, it includes notes from Persona 5 character designer Shigenori Soejima who also shared some of his memories on designing the characters.

The art book includes sketches as well as notes containing character concept secrets translated into English.

Persona 5: The Original Art Book: Volume 1 is now available on the Google Play Store for $14.50. In case you missed it, Famitsu is also conducting a special fan book survey for the West.

 

Persona 5 is available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. Persona 5 The Royal releases in Japan on October 31, 2019 for PlayStation 4 and in the West in 2020.
