People in North America will have a new way to see Persona on August 18, 2020. Funimation’s Persona 5 the Animation streaming will begin with Japanese and English voice acting options in both the United States and Canada that day. Funimation confirmed on its blog that it will be the exclusive home of the dub.
Funimation also noted which episodes of the Persona 5 anime it will have available. In addition to the normal 26 episode run, it will have the two special episodes “Dark Sun” and “Stars and Ours.” This means there will be parity with the version available currently via Crunchyroll in Japanese with English subtitles, as it also has all 26 episodes and the two special episodes immediately available.
As a reminder, this dub will feature voice actors from the game. Here’s the full cast list.
