Atlus is now offering Persona 5 Scramble demos for PS4 and Switch through Amazon Japan.
The free demo lets you play about an hour of the game’s start. The demo content is the same as the full version’s starting point, but unfortunately, it doesn’t supper carryover save data. Furthermore, it only offers Joker as the playable character. The demo excludes certain functions such as save, load, and others available in the full version.
Also included with the demo is an original smartphone wallpaper. You can grab the PlayStation 4 version here and the Nintendo Switch version here. After purchasing for 0 yen, you can find the product code in your account library.
It’s a bit of an odd move from Atlus given that it already released the Persona 5 Scramble demo for PS4 and Switch last month in Japan. We don’t often see publishers put free demos on Amazon Japan, but perhaps it could help reach a broader audience if it does well in the rankings.
Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is currently available in Japan for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Check out its latest trailer here. You can also check our previous report for a look at some gameplay with Koei Tecmo General Producer Kou Shibusawa.
