This figure initially appeared in 2017. Amakuni created a 1:7 scale figure of Ann in her Panther Phantom Thief attire. The owner can also opt to remove the mask to reveal her full face. Hobby Japan opened the pre-orders from late April to early June 2017 with a price tag of 13,800 yen (approximately $125 with the currency rate at that time). After closing the pre-orders, the company delivered the first batch of figures in early 2018.

Ann, who is better known in Japan by the alternative spelling Anne Takamaki, was also the first Amakuni figure of a Persona 5 character. Shortly after finishing Ann’s figure prototype, Amakuni also produced Phantom Thief figures of Futaba Sakura and Makoto “Queen” Niijima.

Amakuni designed this figure after Ann “Panther” Takamaki’s appearance in the original Persona 5, which came out on PlayStation 4 and 3 in 2016. Atlus released multiplatform ports and remasters of the enhanced PS4 release Persona 5 Royal for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch on October 21, 2022.
