Persona 25th Anniversary Music Box is Build-to-Order

Persona music box

In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Persona series, Animate will release a limited-edition Velvet Room music box. As it makes these boxes based on how many people pre-order, there will only be a set amount of boxes in circulation after the cut-off date. Fans will have until October 13, 2021 to pre-order their own Persona music box. The boxes will ship out on December 24, 2021. Each will cost 8,800 yen (approximately $80).

The box is around 15.2 x 11.5 x 6.5 centimeters. It uses natural white bark magnolia. The color is a deep blue reminiscent of the Velvet Room, and there is the Velvet Room emblem on the inside of the box. As you might expect, the track that plays when you open the box is “Poem for Everyone’s Souls.” There is also a small area at the side to place jewelry or other small trinkets, so this music box can also be used practically.

This item is part of the Animate Limited Selection line. Animate creates merchandise in this line after all the pre-orders are in. Another Animated Limited Selection product is the collection of Jujutsu Kaisen stainless steel watches that are available from the USA Animate online shop.

The pre-order period for the Velvet Room watch ends on October 3, 2021. The watch will cost 14,080 yen (around $128).

The Persona music box is available for pre-order until October 13, 2021. Orders ship on December 24, 2021.
