People who are considering getting Sonic Mania for Windows PCs will experience a slight delay. Sega announced today it will be launching on August 29, 2017. It was previously set to arrive on August 15, 2017, the same day the game comes to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Sega has briefly delayed Sonic Mania’s PC version for optimization purposes. However, people who have pre-ordered the game will receive another Sonic the Hedgehog game to make up for the game’s unexpected tardiness. Those folks will receive a free copy of the original Sonic the Hedgehog.

Sonic Mania will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC this month.
