Each Paradox Pokemon will be exclusive to either Pokemon Scarlet or Pokemon Violet. The Slither Wing Tera Raid will be available to take on in Pokemon Scarlet, while Iron Moth will be exclusive to Pokemon Violet. However, if you connect to the internet, you can join battles from an alternate version to gain access to whichever one you might need. While the original Pokemon Volcarona is a Bug and Fire-type Pokemon, these Paradox Pokemon will gain a new type when terastallized.

Terastallization is the new gimmick feature of Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. When a Pokemon is terastallized, they gain a new type and become stronger.

The Slither Wing and Iron Moth 5-star Tera Raid battles in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet will run from September 21-24, 2023. Both games are available worldwide on the Nintendo Switch.
