As well as the new Japan-inspired Island and Pals, there will also be new sub-species variants of existing Pals as well as a variety of new skills. The update also promises to bring new buildings and level caps to allow players to expand their bases as they prepare to tackle a new raid. The long awaited Arena mode will make an appearance, as will a new faction and boss that appear to have a lunar theme.

Back when it was announced that Palworld would have a spot at Summer Game Fest, it was also revealed that the game would come to NVidia’s cloud gaming service GeForce Now. Other announcements at Summer Game Fest itself include an October, 2024, release date for the upcoming Sonic X Shadow Generations.

The Palworld Sakurajima Update is set to arrive on June 27, 2024. The game itself is already available for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
