Paldea Pokemon toys will appear in the “Pokemon Kids” collection of snacks. They will be part of the “Armarouge and Ceruledge” version. Packs will cost 220 JPY, or $1.65 each. Every time you buy a Pokemon Kids snack, you get a soda-flavor gum and a random small Pokemon toy. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
The “Armarouge and Ceruledge” collection of Pokemon Kids snacks will come with fifteen new Pokemon. You’ll be able to find them in various snack stores and such around Japan from August 2023. The fifteen new Pokemon will be:
- Armarouge
- Ceruledge
- Fidough
- Cetitan
- Paldean Wooper
- Cyclizar
- Grafaiai
- Klawf
- Wiglett
- Female Pikachu
- Jigglypuff
- Gengar
- Scyther
- Goomy
- Hatenna
Not all of the Pokemon originated from the Paldea region. For example, there are several from Generation I (Kanto). Meanwhile, Hatenna debuted in Generation VIII (Galar) and Goomy came from Generation VI (Kalos).
Aside from updates to the game via patches and DLC, Nintendo has been releasing lots of new merchandise for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. These new Paldea Pokemon toys in the Pokemon Kids collection are, of course, part of that. Other merchandise you can get include socks of the Paldea Pokemon and a cat hat of Sprigatito.
The “Armarouge and Ceruledge” edition of Pokemon Kids snacks featuring Pokemon from Paldea will appear in stores from August 2023.
