Bandai Namco has announced that a brand-new Ghost is headed to their free-to-play mobile arcade game, Pac-Man Pop!, and they have tasked players to vote on a name for the new character. This latest Ghost who will be making her debut to join the classic group of Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Clyde is described as “smart, stylish, playful” and the “most mischievous.”
Players can decide which one of the following four names they want to vote for:
- Winky
- Violet
- Bonnie
- Dot
Voting has already begun and will last until February 22nd, 2017, at 11:59PM PST. You can cast a vote for your favorite name here. Chief PAC-MAN Officer Makoto Asanuma had the following to say about the new Pac-Man character:
“We’re so happy to add a new member to the PAC-MAN family! Over the three decades since PAC-MAN was first released into arcades, it became a worldwide sensation and the PAC-MAN series entered the hearts of millions of people worldwide. By deciding her name, players can now make this character their own. Whether it’s Winky, Bonnie, Violet or Dot, she’ll be embraced as a new member of the PAC-MAN family, and we’re excited for gamers to meet her in PAC-MAN Pop on their mobile devices.”
