Back in June, WeShare Games and ZiX Solutions put Blood Code, their otome game, up on Steam Greenlight. It passed rather swiftly through the process, assuring itself a place on Steam, but there was no launch window other than Q4 2015. Now, it’s been confirmed that beta testing will begin in December 2015.

Blood Code is an otome game inspired by titles like Princess Maker and Tokimeki Memorial: Girl’s Side. A young woman named Leia has come to the city to make her way in the world after her father’s death. However, that death may not have been an accident. Players will be able to set Leia’s schedule and determine her outfits, to help her do well at work and school and find time to meet people. Naturally, Leia can fall in love with some of these men. It’s possible to date them and give them gifts to increase affections, see CGs, and unlock endings.

Blood Code will be available for Windows, Mac, and Linux PCs in December 2015. It will feature Chinese voice acting with English subtitles, and also offer Steam Achievements and Trading Cards to earn.
