One YU-NO Scene Will Be Altered In The Nintendo Switch And PlayStation 4 Versions Of The Game

Recommended Videos

When YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of This World is released outside of Japan, the two console versions will be slightly different than the original release. If people buy the Nintendo Switch or PlayStation 4 editions, one scene will be altered and one cursor will be changed. However, these the scene and cursor will appear in the PC version, which Spike Chunsoft says will have all of the scenes seen in the Japanese Nintendo Switch version.

The differences were detailed in a Spike Chunsoft post. The company said it had to be done “to secure a release in the West on consoles.”

  • Sala Oasis Scene
    • A sunbeam is placed over Sala’s naked lower body.
  • Symbols
    • Some cursor interaction symbols have been replaced with the “investigation” symbol. The story content and gameplay remains the same; only the cursor symbol itself has been replaced.

YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of This World will appear on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 1, 2019. It originally appeared on the PC-98 in 1996 in Japan. It has since appeared on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Sega Saturn and PC in Japan.
