The One Punch Man website revealed that the new visual was illustrated by Chikashi Kubota. Kubota served as the character designer for both seasons 1 and 2 of the anime. The upcoming season will pick up where the previous one left off, as Garo starts to become a greater threat to the Hero Association.
One Punch Man originally started as a webcomic in 2009, before Shueisha picked up the series in 2012. It follows Saitama, a comically powerful hero who struggles with the fact that he can defeat most enemies with one punch. The manga series is currently in its 26th volume. Madhouse later produced an anime adaptation of the series in 2015, before handing the series off to J.C. Staff for a second season in 2019.
