One of the DOOM Eternal Render Modes Is Inspired by the Game Boy

So one thing that DOOM Eternal has, and has offered for a bit, are different Render Modes. When the second update was released in June 2020, Black & White, Cinematic, Classic, and Gritty options were offered. Now, Bethesda’s offered a reminder that there are even more new DOOM Eternal Render Modes available, and one of them is inspired by Nintendo’s Game Boy.

Since seeing is critical to understanding how these sorts of things work and getting the best idea of their nature, Bethesda released a new trailer showing off all of the Render Modes you could use in action. This means even if you missed one shared before, you can definitely check them out now.

DOOM Eternal is immediately available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia, and past updates added Empowered Demons. It will also appear on the Nintendo Switch. Free PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X upgrades are also planned for the shooter.
