With an approximate height of 130mm (5.11 inches), this figure is a faithful reproduction of the protagonist from the famous action-adventure game. Details on the figure include the body paint markings and the flame effects of the Divine Retribution reflector. The figure also features Amaterasu’s companion Issun, whose tiny silhouette is even visible inside the green light sphere as well.

Pre-orders of this Amaterasu figure are immediately available until May 13, 2021. The item is also available on GoodSmile Online Shop US for $37.99.

Good Smile Company also shared a half-minute-long trailer showcasing the Amaterasu figure on a rotating pedestal, accompanied by the iconic Okami BGM “The Sun Rises.”

Last year, Capcom and SuperGroupies revealed variousĀ Okami merchandise items ranging from umbrellas to overstuffed plushes. In the same year, Good Smile Company also released a puppy-like Nendoroid figure of Amaterasu that also reminded us of her son Chibiterasu, the star of the Nintendo DS game Okamiden.

Okami originally appeared on the PlayStation 2 in 2006, with a Wii port also released in 2008. An HD re-release of the game is immediately available on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Amaterasu also appears as a hero character in Capcom’s card battle game Teppen.
