Hoshiko, left for dead by a dear friend and comrade, is driven to find her vengeance by hammering through enemy ships as fast and aggressively as she can in danmaku shmup An Oath to the Stars.
Hoshiko’s quest for revenge will take her through a story of betrayal and honour, but only if she can survive the onslaught of enemy ships that will assault her. Her best bet is to get up close to her foes, weaving through their shots and using her laser weapon, which deals more damage depending on how close the player is to the enemy. Players who can hop from enemy to enemy, clearing them out quickly, will build up a Momentum Combo that gives them even further power, allowing clever, slippery players to deal extremely high damage.
Players can choose to bring a local co-op pal on their flight to vengeance, as well as choose from four different difficulty levels that can make for some difficult bullet patterns to avoid.
Players can make their former friend pay for their betrayal now by getting An Oath to the Stars on Steam.
