Interest +10! In a feature on Nobuo Uematsu, Wired mentions that the veteran RPG composer is returning is returning to compose Final Fantasy XIV, as well as two more unannounced Square Enix projects (FF Gaiden please!) to be announced this year.

Uematsu took a break from Final Fantasy and Square in 2004. The latest Uematsu tracks you’ve heard in the past year or two are probably from Super Smash Bros. Brawl (the theme to the game).

Edit: Thanks to reader Helves for pointing out that the FFXIII trailer music, is infact, composed by Masashi Hamauzu.
