Niten, a narrative exploration set on a remote Japanese island, was born from a developer’s love of the beautiful scenery of Japan.

Niten leaves the player to wander the island’s forests and shorelines on their own. As they explore, they’ll slowly uncover the story of a samurai master and the orphan he took on as a student so long ago. This tale will be told in Japanese with subtitles, and every piece of the story players unlock will be given to the player as a page of graphic novel at the game’s end.

Players will also be able to pick up certain items and plants from the environment, using them to decorate the tiny home they have on the island.
