Nippon Ichi Software announced the establishment of a new subsidiary, SystemSoft Beta. [Thanks, Gamestalk.]
Operations for the new subsidiary began on January 1, 2020. Koichi Kitazumi of Nippon Ichi Software is the head and director of the company, founded on December 3, 2019. It will be the successor of SystemSoft Alpha, known for the Daisenryaku war strategy series.
Here’s a bit from Nippon Ichi Software about the reason behind its succession:
“With the vision of ‘Entertainment for All’ as a base, we’re currently developing a business with the goal of sharing our work around the world. Since its establishment in Heisei 11 (1999), SystemSoft Alpha made itself known for the Daisenryaku series among other strategy games. Nippon Ichi Software has determined that with the succession of SystemSoft Alpha, they can expect to see expanded sales and improved corporate value.”
