The next Nioh 2 DLC has been dated. On October 15, 2020, people can pick up the Darkness in the Capital add-on. Of course, we had an idea this sort of news would be coming. After all, Koei Tecmo did promise to bring it up at the 2020 Tokyo Game Show.
In this expansion, people will find themselves in Kyoto during the Heian Period fighting new Yokai. Fortunately, you won’t be alone, as other Heian heroes will fight by your side as you go travel through the new area, go after different enemies, and attempt to find new equipment and abilities to use.
There wasn’t too much of a gap between Nioh 2 DLC releases. The last one was The Tengu’s Disciple. It arrived back on July 30, 2020 worldwide. Likewise, it involved more Sohayamaru whistle shenanigans, equipment, enemies, Guardian Spirits, and abilities. However, it ended up taking people to Yashima.
Nioh 2 is immediately available on the PlayStation 4 worldwide. Darkness in the Capital, the next Nioh 2 DLC, will appear on October 15, 2020.
