Nintendo Switch Online Free Trials Reset for Users

People staying at home and perhaps spending more time playing games have a chance to see what one online service is like again, even if they already sampled it once before. The Nintendo Switch Online free trials have all been reset. This means if someone already took the company up on a seven-day free trial once before, they can go ahead and do it again.

Nintendo’s European Twitter account made the announcement. It confirmed that everyone can take part in the Nintendo Switch Online free trial again, even if they already used up the seven days.

The most obvious benefit of a Nintendo Switch Online subscription is the ability to play games online. This would mean someone could use it to go through levels in Super Mario Maker 2, especially after the World Maker update, or to visit other people’s islands and acquire new patterns and designs in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

However, there are also other benefits to the subscription. People can access apps that let them play NES and SNES games alone or with friends. Save files for many games can be backed up. There are also offers to acquire things like exclusive controllers.

Nintendo Switch Online free trials last for seven days. After that, people need to either upgrade to an individual membership, which is $19.99 for a year, or a family membership, which is $34.99 for up to eight Nintendo Account members for a year.
