The Nintendo Switch Is Getting Its First Hands-On Event In New York In January 12, 2017

Nintendo has announced that their upcoming console, the Nintendo Switch, will be present for a select few to try out during a private event in New York on January 13th, 2017. [Thanks, Polygon.]

This event is scheduled to last five hours and will follow a streamed presentation on January 12th, referred to Nintendo as its “Tokyo webcast,” which will reveal more details about the Switch, including the system’s price and its much-anticipated release date.

As of right now, the location for the private Switch event has remained undisclosed, though Nintendo did state that it will “will further emphasize some of the details that Nintendo plans to announce.”

The Nintendo Switch will release sometime in March 2017.
