A new Nintendo app will allow users to print their screenshots and turn them into polaroid pictures. Aptly titled Instax Mini Link for Nintendo Switch, users can link this app from their mobile devices to the mini-printer. The official Fujifilm website details this feature in full and how it will work between the Nintendo Switch and Instax Mini Link. The app will release for mobile devices on April 30, 2021.
Additionally, users can pick between a total of three different frames when printing their screenshots. This includes a Super Mario, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Pokemon Snap frame. A total of two variants will be available with each frame selection. A Pikachu Instax Mini case will also release as part of a special Instax Mini bundle on April 30, 2021. However, the Fujifilm website does not have a price listed for this bundle. It is instead listed as open, so consumers will simply have to scope out the item through various storefronts to check potential price ranges for the bundle.
An official video demonstrating how the Instax Mini will turn screenshots into polaroids has been released ahead of the release of the app. You can see how this feature will work in tandem with the mini-printer.
