Following the termination of Selen Tatsuki, a number of Nijisanji English Vtubers are taking various breaks. The four total who made statements on February 5, 2024 were Rosemi Lovelock, Alban Knox, Ike Eveland, and Victoria Brightshield.
Rosemi noted that her break will last for “a few days.” She specifically noted it refers to social media and didn’t mention if it will apply to streaming.
Alban also noted his break will last “some time.” His announcement also stated it will apply to social media, but didn’t mention if it will include streams.
Likewise, the message from Ike said he will need “some time.”
As for Victoria’s announcement, she said she’ll be taking February 5, 2024 off.
In addition, a few other Nijisanji Vtubers addressed the situation in various ways on social media. Ren Zotto shared his feelings on February 5, 2024. He did not announce any break.
Hex Haywire also seemed to be vaguely alluding to the Selen Tatsuki termination. However, this was a more hazy tweet, though it seemed to be bringing up the situation.
Nijisanji announced the termination, and thus abrupt graduation, of Selen Tatsuki on February 5, 2024. This came abruptly following her cover of the song “Last Cup of Coffee.”
