The Nier series event is live alongside the new patch for Naraka: Bladepoint. The event was originally announced back in July, 2023, with its own theme song titled “The Flame of Fate.” The event launched on August 10, 2023, and it will remain available until September 6, 2023. An official site for the event is open.
During the event, players will be able to earn cosmetic rewards or purchase outfits and weapon skins based on Nier characters like 2B, 9S, and Kainé. Completing all the event quests will also net you a legendary longsword skin called “Replicant·Moonrise,” while opening mythic treasures gives you a chance to earn the legendary rarity 2P outfit.
As well as a slate of balance adjustments, the update also brings new mechanisms and map changes to the game, as well as the new character Tessa with her own event, Vixen’s Trick.
Naraka: Bladepoint has previously collaborated with games like Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty with an event that allowed players to earn a replica of Lu Bu’s mask.
Naraka: Bladepoint is immediately available on the PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One and Series X/S, with the Nier crossover event taking place August 10, 2023 through September 6, 2023. You can read the patch notes at the official site.
