NieR 10th Anniversary

NieR 10th anniversary website was launched by Square Enix. While it doesn’t contain more than a logo, we can expect a follow-up sometime in the near future.

The above image is pretty much the only thing showing on the NieR 10th Anniversary website. However, now that it’s up that means we’ll likely get some kind of announcement from Square Enix for NieR.

While nothing is set in stone, series creator Yoko Taro previously mentioned that he’d do a NieR remake. He also said he’d do just about anything if he can get the money for it.

Yoko Taro often likes to joke about doing anything for money, but producer Yosuke Saito said a couple of years ago that there’s no one that doesn’t move for money as much as him. Saito also said that something was cooking for the NieR series, but we never got any follow-up information on what that could’ve been.

In any case, we’ll be keeping a close eye on the new anniversary website. The anniversary date is a few months away, so there’s a good chance we get something soon. Perhaps a little surprise at Jump Festa 2020?

NieR first released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in April 2010.
