We got to see how Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom starts out with its first 15 minutes of gameplay yesterday, and Bandai Namco continued where it left off with more footage that is led by Roland.
Previously, we saw how Roland met Evan, which followed with a coup to overthrow the young king of Ding Dong Dell. After making an escape and getting help from Aranella, who served as Evan’s governess and bodyguard since his birth, Roland took it upon himself to help Evan make an escape.
Near the end of the first gameplay video, Roland was tasked with finding a secret passage that leads to the sewers in order to escape. The second one starts with the group working their way out of there, but things don’t go as expected when they run into a powerful enemy, which ends up being the first boss fight that you’ll face as Roland.
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom releases on March 23, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and PC.
