Pre-registration for Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds will open soon. Additionally, Netmarble will release a commercial featuring Studio Ghibli composer Joe Hisashi ahead of release. Hisashi will provide the score for the upcoming MMORPG, which will feature orchestrated tracks performed by the Japanese Philharmonic Orchestra. Netmarble, the developer behind Lineage II Revolution, will handle the development of Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds alongside Level-5. Level-5 developed the previous two Ni no Kuni titles. However, this new entry will be available for mobile devices as a portable MMORPG. As it stands, Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds has only been announced for Asian regions.

A total of five classes will be available for players to choose from. Additionally, players will be able to customize their own kingdoms. The official website will detail more capabilities regarding kingdoms in the future. This includes elaboration on the defense and invasion mechanics Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds will have.

Pre-registration rewards will also be detailed closer to the release of the game. This information will be distributed through the official Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds website and official Twitter account.

Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds will release for Android and iOS devices in 2021, with pre-registration opening on April 14, 2021.
