During the May 30, 2024 State of Play, PlayStation showed off a new trailer for the Silent Hill 2 remake, and this one focused on Angela and James. It also confirmed the October 8, 2024 release date for Silent Hill 2, while also highlighting more of the combat we’ll see.

The trailer uses a combination of gameplay footage and cinematic scenes telling the game’s story. We get a look at James and Angela’s meeting with each other, as well as the foreboding nature of Silent Hill. Aside from Angela, we also get to see James exploring the city, as well as get an opportunity to see how he fights against the various monsters roaming the streets in this version of the game. There’s also a short scene of James attacking the Abstract Daddy.
SIlent Hill 2 Remake will come out on October 8, 2024 for the PS5 and Windows PC. We can also play the game on the PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360, and PC, both via the original release and Silent Hill HD Collection that bundled it with Silent Hill 3.
