There wave of continuing Street Fighter V Fighting EX Layer crossover costumes continues. This time, Akuma gets to become Garuda. The new Extra Battle costume will be available to earn starting on January 12, 2021.
To get the Garuda Akuma look, people are going to need to spend some Fight Money. Heading into Extra Battles and offering up the virtual currency will give you the chance to fight the matches that earn you special outfits. Once this one is available, investing and earning it will permanently add it as an option for the character.

While Garuda has been in all the Street Fighter EX games, he’s only been playable since Street Fighter EX Plus. Other Fighting EX Layer characters to show up as costumes include Blair, Hokuto, Kairi, and Skullomania.
Street Fighter V is available for the PlayStation 4 and PC. The SFV Fighting EX Layer Garuda costume will be available for Akuma starting on January 12, 2021, and you will have until Febuary 4, 2021 to try and claim it.
