By Level-5 recently shared some of their plans for next year which includes a new TV anime series based on the Professor Layton franchise as well as a new game for the series sometime in Summer 2018. [Thanks, Toon Barn.]
The report comes from Total Licensing magazine, where it was confirmed that a new Layton game will release in late-summer 2018. No further information was announced for the new title, but the new anime series will have 26 episodes and is expected to begin airing sometime in 2018.
In other Level-5 news, the magazine report confirms that the Yo-kai Watch anime will kick off its third season in early 2018 for North America and Europe. With the World Cup taking place in Summer 2018, Level-5 is also aiming to launch the Inazuma Eleven Ares anime globally in April 2018 during the peak of the football mania.
Lastly. the company shared that they’re hoping to bring The Snack World to the West sometime in 2018-19.
