A  New Prince of Tennis anime is in production and due to air in January 2012, according to a Mainichi Shimbun report (translated by ANN).

 

The series will be based on the New Prince of Tennis manga, which begins several months after the end of the original series.

 

New Prince of Tennis is currently serialized in Shueisha’s Jump Square magazine.
