This merchandise lineup will put Pokemon mascots on desserts like parfaits and cakes. The desserts will also be part of the decoration and thus will not be edible.

People interested in these toys will have to spend 300 yen to pull a random capsule from the vending machine. The lineup will consist of Galarian Ponyta, Paldean Wooper, Sprigatito, and Swirlix.

This collection will comprise the fifth batch in the series. Takara Tomy Arts had previously released the four waves since January 2022 with the following Pokemon:

  1. Wave 1 – January 2022 – Goomy, Alcremie, Ditto, Milcery
  2. Wave 2 – June 2022 – Psyduck, Spheal, Piplup, Gengar
  3. Wave 3 – May 2023 – Snom, Mew, Drifloon, Marill
  4. Wave 4 – February 2024 – Shellder, Cleffa, Fuecoco, Litwick

The Pokemon Company has been working with many other companies inside and outside Japan to release Pokemon merchandise. Earlier reveals in August 2024 showed that there will be new Terrarium capsules and McDonald’s Happy Meal toys in Japan, as well as Squishmallow plushes of Fuecoco and Bellibolt in the US.

The fifth batch of Pokemon Yummy Sweets Mascots will be available in Japan in August 2024.
