The next new PlatinumGames game announcement will arrive this week. The official Platinum 4 website has been updated. The second star now has February 26, 2020 listed below it. As a reminder, in the past stars on the site have been updated when teasers or reveals have been made, as the first star now links a The Wonderful 101: Remastered Kickstarter page. This isn’t the first hint that something is coming this week. Back on February 18, 2020, Famitsu announced its February 27, 2020 issue would include a new PlatinumGames game reveal.
As for the Platinum 4 site, PlatinumGames launched it back at the beginning of February 2020. It notes that four stars will eventually be revealed as time passes, presumably in 2020 since two of the four are about to be unveiled.
No hints about the second Platinum 4 star have been revealed. However, in a Famitsu interview Hideki Kamiya did say that Bayonetta 3 development is going “smoothly.” As a reminder, that was announced back at The Game Awards 2017 and has a tentative 2020 release window, but further information on it has yet to appear.
The next new PlatinumGames game reveal will occur on February 26, 2020. An exact time hasn’t been mentioned.
