Since its release, Nioh 2 has received two DLC expansions. This includes the Darkness in Capital and Tengu’s Disciple DLC, which has added new weapons, enemies, bosses, and areas into the game. New weapons have included the addition of a dangerous fist weapon to Nioh 2‘s already expansive roster. Each DLC expansion has also added a handful of new Guardian Spirits players can attune themselves with.

The Tengu’s Disciple DLC expansion also added a photo mode, which allows players to add filters and effects to their screenshots. Players do not need to own the DLC to access this and other quality of life features. Content added in free updates has included an Abyss-like end game, giving players plenty of content to spend more than a handful of hours with.

A third and final DLC expansion is planned, but details have yet to be announced.

Nioh 2 is immediately available on the PlayStation 4 worldwide.
